Margin
Margin is the deposit your broker sets aside to keep a leveraged position open. It's collateral, not a fee.
Margin is the amount of your own money the broker holds as collateral to keep a leveraged trade open. It isn’t a charge — when you close the trade, the margin is released. How much is held depends on your position size and leverage.
In MT4, you can see your used margin and free margin in the Terminal window’s Trade tab. Free margin is what’s left to open new trades.
